"The Wets"

The title of this post is taken from Margaret Thatcher's wonderfully-descriptive phrase about politicians who stand around with a wet finger raised to determine which way the wind is blowing before they decide what to do. I am sick and tired of both parties being run by people without any discernable convictions beyond getting re-elected. A plague on both their houses. If we don't get some dry-fingered leaders soon, we're going to pay a tremendous price for it. And if we don't insist on that kind of leadership, we're going to deserve it.
